Imagine:
A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
Together we can forge women’s equality.
Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
What another great year we have had for International Women’s Day 2022 #BreaktheBias. We receive so much fantastic support from our members, trustees, matrons, corporate supporters and all the fantastic women out there. Every year is different and every year we are overwhelmed by your kindness.
In this blog, I will look at our supporters and share their stories and videos with you. As part of International Women’s Day we are out there raising awareness, raising funds and showing solidarity to all women. So here is a sample of the things you have been up to in support of WomenCentre:
Our Corporate Supporter Lesley O’Brien FreightLink Europe.
Lesley O’Brien- Owner and Director of transport company Freightlink Europe. Lesley is corporate supporter of WomenCentre. In the haulage industry only 8% of the workforce are women. Only 1% of drivers are women. This International Women’s Day Lesley said “Today I am inspired by the women who work at and who come to the WomenCentre, be brave, together we can make a difference”.
