1325 Girls & Young Women Project

1325 is a Big Lottery funded project for girls and young women between the ages of 13 and 25. We work across both Calderdale and Kirklees and our aim is to work alongside girls and young women in our community to support and empower them to reach their full potential.

We are developing an online space where local girls and young women can talk about current issues that matter to them; this could also be extended beyond online to enable girls and young women to meet up on a more regular basis.

1325 also provides both emotional and practical support around a wide range of issues which is provided in a safe space. We offer 1:1 support in a variety of settings and group work to raise self esteem, confidence and resilience. We welcome those supported by us to be involved in the development and delivery of services.
