Counselling – Calderdale
The Counselling Service provides one-to-one therapeutic work for women with women. We only provide qualified counsellors at our centres.
We are BACP organisational members and adhere to their code of ethics and practice.
Referrals for one-to-one counselling can be made by individuals or by professionals, when an individual agrees to the referral. Following an initial assessment, where appropriate, we will offer a short term counselling contract to work in a focused way on specific client needs.
Our service aims to be accessible and inclusive. All our counsellors offer regular appointments, sessions last up to one hour.
All of our counsellors are qualified. Whatever her status she will be able to work at an appropriate level of competence. Counsellors receive supervision for their work. If your counsellor needs to discuss her work with you in supervision, then your anonymity will be protected.
We are bound by the centre policy on confidentiality and by the Data Protection Act.
